First of all let me start off by saying that Camp Courage has been the best thing I have done for myself in a long time. When I arrived at Camp Courage I was burnt out and hopeless. My confidence was at an all time low and I was suffering from a major case of the “fuck-its.” In a matter of weeks, my perspective has shifted and I am starting to take control of my life. Knowledge truly is power and the information you receive from Camp Courage is invaluable. I have tried numerous self improvement methods from talk therapy to flower remedies, diets to anti-depressants, and exercise to acupuncture. What I have discovered through Camp Courage is that nothing and no one is going to change my life – it’s my responsibility to step up to the plate and make conscious choices towards personal improvement. I’m optimistic and excited about the future now, and the credit goes to Camp Courage for helping me acknowledge what is and is not working in my life.
I am especially excited about next month’s topic which is finances. Being someone who has a poor relationship with finances, I look forward to acquiring the knowledge necessary to regain control of my income and hopefully generate more of it!
