Few of us like to admit that security is an illusion, if we do so it tears at the very foundation we have built our lives on. Your ego tells you that you are in control that you can will “your will” and control outcomes this is a trap that keeps us in a continuous state of suffering and worry.

Surrender to your powerlessness and you will find your power.

• You are powerless over the way that others behave
• You are powerless over what’s going to happen next

Once you have fostered the art of practicing a loving detachment your powerlessness is your attribute not your deficit. Walk in faith. Everything that happens happens for a reason. Surrender… surrender to the process. Surrender to trust. Trust that it will all work out in the way it is meant to. When you have enough courage and faith to know that all that is is part of a divine plan manipulating people and situations will lose it’s attraction.
